Fuel

What is Fuel?

Fuel (Life to Bible) is fuel for your student’s everyday life. We begin with where a Jr. Higher is (their life circumstances) and walk that to the Bible to see what God has to say about their life. We talk about the social issues that Jr. Highers deal with. Our goal is to help the students develop a taste of deeper study and then seek it out on their own, in Sunday School and with their parents. We talk about issues of identity, relationships/sexuality, purpose, and many other topics that Jr. Highers deal with.

When is Fuel?

Fuel meets during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:50 pm

What does a night at Fuel look like?

6:30 - Welcome and Announcements

6:35 - Teaching Activity* - a game or activity that connects with the night's lesson

6:45 - Big Group Teaching - an interactive teaching on the Bible for all students

6:55 - Small Group Teaching - students get a chance to process and apply what they learned with adult leaders

Fuel Lessons

Every week after Fuel, we post the Small Group questions that we used at Fuel so that you can use them to discuss the week’s lesson with your kids. We are making this available for you for two reasons. The first is that we want you to know what we are teaching your kids, and secondly we know that, because you are the real youth ministers, what you teach your kid will stick with them more than what we teach them. We want to partner alongside of you as you teach your kids, and this is one way we can reach that goal.
