Rationale

At Lincoln Christian Church, we strive to help High School Students understand who God is and that He invites them to join His mission. We make sure that we have many different avenues (Gathering, Sunday School, Bible Study, youth events/trips) to teach your Student about God and experiences where they can practice what they have learned that partner with the work that you yourself already give them. Move is one of those avenues. It gives your Student a chance to get away from many different distractions and spend focused time learning and studying about God. It also gives them a chance to meet other High School Christians who are going through the same journey that they are. The whole time that they are at Move, our leaders will be with them to guide them through the teaching and help them to make the content of Move a part of their everyday lives. Move is a great, fun, and exciting way for High School Student to learn to know and live with God!

Who?
· Incoming 2024-2025 school year 9th Graders – 2024 Graduated Seniors

What?
· MOVE is a 5-day event that challenges and encourages High School students to become followers of Jesus and Kingdom Workers! (ciy.com/move)

Where?
· Wheaton College - Wheaton, IL

When?
· Monday – Saturday, July 8th – July 13th, 2024

How much?
· $460* (includes C.I.Y. Move Conference and Transportation)
· We will have a fundraiser to help you pay for the trip!
· Scholarships available to current 8th graders!
· Plus $ for 3 fast-food meals
· Extra Money (optional) if you want to buy something from the Move Store:
CIY apparel, bags, books, bracelets, pens, etc.

What to bring?
· We will send you a letter detailing all that you will need before we leave

·      $130 Non-Refundable Deposit due by Sun., Feb. 25th
·      After Feb. 19th, there is a $35 Late Fee in addition to the total cost
·      Balance of $330 due by Sun., May 26th
